Approaches to Therapy

Gestalt Therapy

Is a type of counseling that focuses on helping you become more aware of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in the present moment, rather than getting lost in the past or worrying about the future. The term “gestalt” means “the whole is greater than the sum of it’s parts.” It’s about noticing patterns in how you relate to yourself and others, and exploring those patterns in real time during therapy. The goal is to help you understand yourself more fully so you can make choices that feel authentic and aligned with who you fully are.

Mindfulness-Based Techniques

Mindfulness-Based therapy blends present-moment awareness practices with a focus on deeper, often spiritual aspects of personal growth. It helps you notice your thoughts, emotions, and sensations without judgment, while also exploring questions of meaning, purpose, and connection beyond the self. The aim is to support healing and transformation on mental, emotional, and spiritual levels.

Embodied Practices

Before we could think, we could feel. Over time through life, culture, and circumstance disconnecting from the body became the norm.

Embodied practice is the work of returning. By learning to bring focused attention inward — noticing sensations, feelings, and emotions as they arise you begin to rebuild a relationship with yourself that no amount of thinking can replace.
